2007 was Terry Jenkins year where he made darts fans stand up and see what he was made of by reaching the Final of the World MatchPlay in Blackpool (darts in the Winter Gardens) but losing 18-7 to James Wade.

Previously in america he reached the final of the Vegas desert classic where again was runner-up.

Darts World Grand Prix runner up defeated by the same man who beat him in Blackpool - 009.

Jenks was part of the Premier League of Darts and was consistent throughout beating Raymond van Barneveld in the semi's but losing to Phil 'The Power' Taylor in another one of his Finals.
