His finest darting hour came in 2003 when Peter Manley won the Las Vegas Desert Classic Darts Championship.
PDC World number 1 : September 2000 to October 2001.
Early Years
Peter worked at his parents' newsagents, Manleys. He was named One Dart by commentator Tony Green. He hit the winning double on numerous occasions with his first dart during his 1st televised appearance at the 1995 Unipart European Masters, where he eventually lost in the final to Mike Gregory.
Great Darts
His best tournament win was the 2003 Las Vegas Desert Classic where he beat John Part 16-12 in the final. Also a 4-time major runner-up.
