After playing in the BDO for twenty years, winning 4 World Championships, Van Barneveld announced his move from the BDO to the PDC on the 15 February 2006.
In 2008 he became PDC World Number 1.
In 2009, First ever nine dart finish in the PDC World Championship.

Raymond van Barneveld won his first major since his move from the BDO in the UK Open Darts Final in Bolton beating Phil Taylor along the way.

'The Man' then went on to defend his Darts UK Open Title and win in america beating Terry Jenkins in the Las Vegas Desert Classic Final becoming Champion.

Early PDC Years

Raymond throws 25 gram Target RVB95 Darts and has used these arrows to maximum effect storming into the PDC and making his debut throwing in the Premier league darts 2006 competition making the semi-finals pleasing the newly established ' Barney Army ' fans including a 9 darter on the way.

Great Darts

Barneveld took his game to the next level in 2007 winning the Greatest Darts Title of them all becoming PDC World Championship Winner in the best darts match of all time defeating Phil Taylor 7-6 in sets by winning the sudden death leg.
