Peter Wright crashed out of the Ally Pally Worlds 2018 Darts as Spains Toni Alcinas wins by 3 sets to 1.

Alcinas admitted "I had played against Peter several times and could never beat him. He didn't play his best game but it was still a hard match and I had to play well to win.

"It is a special moment for me and I hope I can go even further now."

Dave 'Chizzy' Chisnall had a scare but fought back from behind to defeat Josh Payne 3-2.

Darius Labanauskas sent Dutchman and five-time World Champion Raymond van Barneveld packing. The Lithuanian beats RVB by 3 sets to 2. 'Barney' recently announced that he will retire at the end of 2019.

South African Devon Petersen wins in dramatic style on a last leg decider against Wayne Jones.

Peterson said "I don't mean to sound cocky but I think in the end the right man won."

Anastasia Dobromyslova was beaten comfortably by Ryan Joyce on his debut.

'The Dutch Destroyer' Vincent van der Voort cruised to a 3-1 victory over Asian Tour winner Lourence Illagan.
